Hannes is a dreamy boy. He sees animals on the house wall, a sailing ship in the clouds and the rain lady behind the thunderclouds. When he wants to build her and needs some hair for her, he simply cuts off one of his black curls. The kindergarten teacher takes the scissors away from him and now Hannes has to rip the coloured paper instead of cutting it. He picks and plucks and suddenly an animal appears: the Bumpam! All the other children laugh about Hannes. At night Bumpam visits Hannes and takes him to the ripped country, which you may only enter without scissors. There are the most beautiful animals, flowers and landscapes. Next day in kindergarten Hannes can hardly await ripping a picture with many animals. It occurs to be very special and all of a sudden all children want to learn from Hannes.
